Please join with us to prayer for

1. South Africa: Pray for God’s blessing over South Africa and its people (Jer 29:7). Pray that God’s Kingdom will come and His will be done in South Africa.
   
   
2. Christians in South Africa: Pray for an increase in fervency of our love for Jesus Christ our Savior, God our Father and the Holy Spirit our Helper. (Eph 2:4-5)
   
   
3. Leaders: Pray for all leaders in South Africa according to 1 Tim 2:1-2. Specifically pray for president, cabinet and members of parliament, and premiers of the provinces.
   
   
4. Church: Pray for all Christian Churches in South Africa. Pray for growth (spiritually and in numbers), finances and protection from deception. (Eph 6:18)
   
   
5. Unity: Pray for unity in purpose amongst the Christian Churches in South Africa to address physical, mental & emotional, social and spiritual needs of the people of South Africa. Specifically pray Jesus’ prayer in John 17:20-26 as well as Eph 3:14 – 4:16
   
   
6. Lost: Pray for those that do not know Jesus Christ as their Saviour in South Africa. Pray for the preparation and gathering of the harvest. Pray for those working in gathering the harvest. (1 Tim 2:3-6)
   
   
7. Identificational Repentance: Pray that God will forgive sin in South Africa. Let us in this period specifically repent of the sin of sexual immorality in all its forms in South Africa.
   
   
8. Giants: Pray for breakthroughs concerning the “giants” (Num 13:33, 14:9) in our society: HIV/AIDS, poverty, crime and violence, abuse of women, children and men, families in crisis, the elderly, substance abuse and the homeless.
   
   
9. Pray for the Lord’s wisdom for our church leaders and authorities as the subject of same-sex marriages are debated on its way to becoming law.
   
   
10. Pray for unity and strength as church leaders engage the authorities on the issue. “Lord, let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”
    
    
11. Pray that the Lord will bless our fields with good rain during the season. Pray for rain in the Cape where the winter rains did not come.
